Northgate Kids (NGK) is a place for your little ones, birth-5th Grade, to be introduced to the God of the universe through song, Bible stories, and a bit of silliness. We want to equip and grow kids by providing them with time and resources specifically designed for presenting the truths of Scripture at their developmental level. AND we want to equip and grow families by providing time and resources specifically designed to allow families to worship together. #KidsGrowToo
What does this look like?
Pre-School Foundation Class
Birth - 5 years
On Sunday mornings, preschoolers can interact with the stories of the Old and New Testament through song, story-time, craft, and play. Utilizing LifeWay's Gospel Project curriculum, volunteers present the truths of Scripture in a fun and foundational way that out preschoolers can carry with them many years to come. Doors open at 9:30am.
Elementary Foundation Class
1st-5th Grade
On Sunday mornings, kids can interact with the stories of the Old and New Testament through Bible-study, crafts, and games. Utilizing LifeWay's Gospel Project curriculum, volunteers present the truths of Scripture in a fun and foundational way that out kids can carry with them many years to come. Doors open at 9:30am.
Nursery
Birth - 6 Years
Parents can enjoy peace of mind while in Sunday Service. Northgate Nursery provides a time of story, music, and play for little ones from verified and trained volunteers, while the rest of the family partakes in worship with the rest of the congregation. Doors open at 10:15a.
Kids in Worship Service
2nd - 5th Grade
Something powerful happens when the full body of the church gathers together to worship God, and we want our kids at Northgate Church to experience that with us on Sunday mornings. We invite all our elementary kids to join the whole congregation in service each week during service. We provide a Children’s Church section were kids can sit with their peers as well adults intent on discipling them through worshipping with the body of Christ. We also provide sermon-based activity sheets and fidget toys to help with those wiggly moments. All kids are also welcome to sit with their families. Service starts at 10:30a.
At NGK, we love kids. But, most importantly, we really love Jesus. We want kids to know the joy of having a deep, transforming relationship with the one true God and worshipping alongside their whole family.
