Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

It’s a stereotypical verse in student ministry, but at Northgate Church we stand behind the reasons so many churches have adopted this verse for their students: God loves, redeems, and sends out students to do great things in His kingdom. Scripture testifies to this. History testifies to this. And, in Northgate Student Ministry (NGS), we hope to provide a living testimony to the truth that God loves, redeems, and sends out middle and high school students in North Fort Worth. #DoGreatThings

What Does This Look Like?

Foundation Classes

This looks like a Sunday morning class for students that utilizes LifeWay’s Gospel Project curriculum to equip the students to understand the Bible as a whole by taking them through the whole of Scripture in three years. Doors Open at 9:30a.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

This looks like a Wednesday Night Youth Group that offers students the chance to eat dinner with the larger church body before heading to their own space to play high energy games with their peers and dive into Scripture by exegetically studying the Bible one book at a time. All this occurs under the leadership of adults that love Jesus and students. Doors open at 6:00p.

At NGS, we really love students. We really love silliness and fun. But, most importantly, we really love Jesus. We want students to have their lives come alive by having a deep, transforming relationship with the one true God.
