When I am prepare a sermon or teaching I use a number of Bible resources. There are many great resources out there for you to read, study, and listen in your discipleship journey. Below are just a few, hope they help in your personal spiritual journey.
I use several Bible translations in my study to help me understand the text.

There are some good sources that I use for reference and inspiration in writing sermons.
Authors like Tim Keller, John Stout, Wayne Grudem, John Piper, Charles Spurgeon, Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin are all influences.
Commentaries - BST (The Bible Speaks Today) series is a commentary that I utilize most often, I also utilize a copy of the Bible Knowledge Commentary created by Dallas Theological Seminary faculty members.
Online - The Gospel Coalition consist of timely articles on current issues and thought provoking articles. Got Questions is good online source for different doctrinal theology and modern theology questions.
Radio - One program I listen to regularly for teaching and the feeding my spirit is Alistair Begg’s “Truth of Life” ministry. They have granted us access to their site for church use as part of their network.
